Leung Chung-chi, the second generation of the fifth branch of Leung So Kee, started importing umbrella accessories and materials from Europe. They persisted in handcrafting high-quality umbrellas and provided a lifetime warranty repair service for umbrella frames.

During the Second World War, all branches of Leung So Kee in Guangzhou and Macau temporarily closed due to the war. In the 1940s to the 1970s, the third-generation descendants of Leung So Kee expanded the business to various locations throughout Hong Kong, opening many branches in key areas such as Shanghai Street, Nathan Road, Castle Peak Road, San Po Kong, Central, North Point, and Wan Chai. These branches became popular destinations for people to purchase umbrellas.
